Men hate the idea of being tied down. They are very active and sexually oriented...okay...ALOT of men...not ALL men. Being tied down and being in a committ4d relationship also means they have to deal with some of the drama they feel women bring like being judged for their immature behaviours or the fact that they aren't giving them attention, etc. When they can just "be friends" with a girl, they don't have the responsbility of having to answer to anyone. Sometimes, it's good for a female to make a guy chase her. It makes them realize that they really want her.
